 I started using them in my Honda 250 Motorcycle. Likes them so well
that was what I always used when I was changing plugs. Like you I never
likes Champions. They had a Crummy plating and tended to Seize in
Aluminum Heads. Although I did run Chanpion UL-15Y's in my Corvair.
the Aux Gap inside the plug hepled with misfiring. Used to run the car a
little rich to squeeze the last bit of power out of it. It was the 4
Carb Corsa model. Adn the plugs tended to load up untill I took it out
on the road and gave it an "Italian Tuneup"  :-)  :-)
