Humm, methinks your ideas on what you get with a brand new supraV32Bis
Faxmodem are a little in error. I got mine brand new from 1st Computers
in Leeds, in the box were the 2 manuals, a two page card crib sheet, and
some other paperwork relating to the guarentee. And one floppy with a
shareware comms program on it.. NO drivers, No diagnostic software, Fax
program etc...
And I had to freq [long distance] a bbs file on supra setup etc..

Well I can tell you right now I never saw DosFax or owt like it..
I think most people look at the various Fax software availableon BBS's
try the programs out and settle on 1 of them in the end.. The same with
diagnostic software.. But if you want all the latest info AFAIK The
Coole BBS has it:-)
As for drivers, that puzzles me, why drivers for a modem? Your Comms
program drives the modem, or whatever Fax program you choose with use
its own fax drivers.. It looks to me as if PC Tools is looking for PnP
software of some kind, which doesnt apply to a NON PnP modem.
Cheers,
Cliff
