BZ> What is the difference between DN3D normal and DN3D Plutionium Pack?
Quite a bit, actually. There's a whole new 4th episode (The Birth), with
11 new levels. A few of them are based on cool movies (like Mission
Impossible and Independance Day), while most others are just cool designs,
like Duke Burger (a restaurant), and Gone Postal (a post office).
There's a new weapon, the Expander (also called the Microwave Gun). It's
an add-on of sorts to your Shrinker, and as you might expect performs the
exact opposite: your target inflates and pops. Just be clear of "ground
zero," since that pop can hurt.
There are 3 new enemies: a Pig Cop tank, which is tough to kill and can
easily kill you; a Protector Drone, which is fast, shoots shrink rays and can
slash you to pieces; and the Alien Queen, which even -I- haven't really seen,
except for the manual.
There are also a few new tweaks to the game. For example, using the "fake
deathmatch" and "player AI" tags when you start up the game can let you play
a multiplayer game versus the computer. Be careful, it's tough. Also, there
are a few new game effects, like lightning.
My consensus (and no doubt Joe Siegler's) is: get it. It breathes new life
into the game.
