        Sorry to disagree, but the 3000 is the wheel version and
        the 4000 is the wheel version!...  The 3000 uses a drive
        BELT from the gear drive/unit to turn a wheel mounted on
        the boats wheel.  The 4000 uses a GEARED unit to DIRECTLY
        drive the similarly mounted little wheel inside the big one.
        At any rate, I got a full installation/operation manual for
        the unit and it now works just fine that it's been correctly
        "calibrated" to my boat.
