Well, my Clarion unit says 30x4 on it as well, but that's the
peak rating with headroom. The rms (average) reading is more like 15
watts for those units. As for distortion, distortion is always given
at a rated output level. In this case, it's given for the full 30x4
maximum rating. It should be *much* less at lower power levels, which
you'd normally use it at.
