Is there a way to set the default folder settings via rexx?  

I prefer desktop folders to default to Flowed Icon view w/ small
icons.  Since most of these folders are created through rexx scripts,
I'd like to change this default setting while that script is running.

I also prefer most directory folders to default to Flowed Icon view w/
small icons.  I'd like a way to change the system default so that all
new directories don't have to be changed individually.

Any help much appreciated.
