subject: Watcom to make PM apps

-=> Quoting Phil Crown to All <=-

PC> How is Watcom for making PM apps? I thought I read that it is "not

PC> Does Watcom have a PM C++ Class Library included?

 JL> Yes.

No. Watcom does NOT have a PM C++ class library included. It has the
standard ANSI C++ classes (iostreams, string, etc.), but it does not
include a C++ class for GUI development, unlike Borland (OWL) or IBM Visual
Age C++ (Open Class?). It comes with a Windows class library (MFC), but no
PM class library.

I find the online books to (generally) be more useful. Do a search for
what I want, and I get it. :-)

I can't afford to have Watcom in my CD all the time - I need to go to the
DevCon disks from time to time, or various other CD's. I have one HD
practically dedicated to Watcom. :-)
