| subject: | VioGetCurType() |
On Tuesday, 96/07/02, Daniel Lynes wrote to All about "VioGetCurType()" as follows: DL> static PVIOCURSORINFO CursorData; /* cursor characteristics */ DL> /* DL> * The following VioGetCurType() call is what is DL> * causing the unexplainable crash DL> */ DL> rc=VioGetCurType(CursorData,VioHandle); Hi Daniel, You will probably get a dozen replies on this. You haven't malloc'ed any memory for the VIOCURSORINFO structure, so the API is trying to poke the results into whatever address is currently in the pointer. Try removing the P from the start of the type name and pass the structure by its address. Note that with all the static junk this code will not be thread safe.
