| subject: | Laby. files in LNX4GAMES |
Janis, >There is a problem with the the lost labyrinth files you released in Lnx4games I'll admit that I haven't seen the files he actually distributed, but in what way is there a problem? The v4.71 version is what is available for free download at the website, & I didn't see anything about not being able to distribute it in other ways. 'Course, I'd also prefer to see the source available for that version... >This is a copyrighted game, even though it would seem to be GPL.. Well, since GPL _is_ a copyright (I used it myself), I'm not sure what your point is... It's also Creative Commoms. And the art & music, etc, is used by permission... > it looks lik > someone hacked the code from a commercial game to be honest. On what do you base that? And note that this is separate from what I think about distributing large files that are freely available from a web site....
