I have been there too--and am presently on the perilous edge to
slip again, though none would know it to see me. I do not want to "slip
through the cracks" and yet there are those standing by [employers],
knowing what is at stake and what I have to offer who blithely drag
their feet. "It's not THEIR problem". With that kind of approach to
life, it begins to explain why there is so much rage and violence
[between the "haves" and "have nots"].
