It'll almost certainly not be IIS (unless IIS runs on Solaris or Linux).

Basically 2 clients: Windows & Linux with the possibility of maybe some
Macs. My Recomend so far would be to std'ize on Mozilla as that runs on all
3 & it now does NTLM but if IE works on Windows then no probs as the
html is std.
