How are you today Jim ?
JH> They get the two colors by reversing polarity - - DC current
JH> going one way is amber, current going
JH> the other way is green. Put AC on there, and both will light up.
Did not work this way here. I could not get the green to come on at
all. Could it be the missing two pins ? You know the 16 to 18 dilemma.
JH> One thing - - I think I sent the mainboard with the Pwr switch set to
JH> instant off instead of 4 second delay. With the 4 second delay
JH> active, you punch the pwr button once and it goes into suspend mode.
I got to BIOS setup and got it to the 4 second choice. But I do not
use this except when it freezes on me ( once ). Then it needs a
scandisk. The software shutdown is the way to go.
JH> We're talking about two different things here. I was talking about
JH> the power-off settings in SETUP, for using the frontpanel power switch,
JH> and you are talking about software soft-power off thru Winders.
No, I got you 5-5. Maybe I did not express myself well enough.
