How are you today Jim ? WC> Perhaps it's set to PnP? JH> Yes, that's the way it arrived here, and that's the way I shipped it JH> to him - jumpered for PnP. My modem, err ! your modem, was also PnP when I inserted it. You had a note on it saying "v.90 and com 2" and that is where it sits. It did not say Winmodem but U.S Robotics Fax Int or close to this. It replaces an Aopen modem that gave me the PCI Communication Device warning on booting. This Aopen FM56-PM was also a gift from a well meaning friend but I could never get it to work. There are two jumper pads on it and no jumper. I tried getting the User's manual from the site, it shows that there is one but the D/L never worked. If you find a minute or two, would you attempt it to see if you can ? Thanks. That first note that I sent your way still has not shown up on my account. Did you loose it ? There will be another one soon for the last stamps on the HD that set up this KR637 fine. Again, thanks. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
