It's just an easy way out, Just like Joe F in the USR_modems echo asking

if your modem was the CCITT model (international) Nobody seems to support

those. and they are what USR will send you If you order a modem off them

from out side US.  If you want a US/Canada model, you have to buy them

from anyone else but USR.
