Thanks for trying to help Jean P with the mysterious pinouts which he
has seen. I'm still clueless wrt some 16 pin header for the frontpanel
display on this board.

I think you're "hot on the trail", here, and I'm still rather clueless
as to Jean's reported 16-pin frontpanel header.

Yep, that's the board.
Jean insists that he saw only a 16-pin frontpanel header there, and he
has now sent the  board to a new owner, so no way to check now. I'll let
this "sleeping dog" lie.
