A wise move. A big engine like that woill not be effient a low RPM.
The smaller diesel approach is far better, especially if you have a
low cost feul supply, and can use the heat byproduct.
BTW, I presume that the 93% effiency is the net electricity + heat
production, since diesel engines are not that effient by themselves.
