And write it down before you forget again.  This is the voice
of Experience speaking here...I made my mother a knit afghan
about 15 years ago.  She loved it but washed it to death, and
now that her furniture is new and very different colors, it
would look out of place anyhow.  But since the afghan is not
around any more...I don't have a clue how I made it, and I've
got no pattern to go by.  Don't do this to yourself, Bettie!
I'm going to look through my patterns again just in case I find
something similar (I can remember a few details but that's it),
but Mother will probably have to settle for something else.
