RF> My son Jeremy is the one that I feel hopeless with sometimes. I know
RF> the situation is not, but he is the one that it is hard to get through
RF> to. Last nite he was behaving rather good. Finally he got ticked at
RF> his sister and of course, the dreaded pounce on her and hitting (in a
RF> flash of an eye). He did not consider it beating her up. Could not
RF> get that through his head. With Jeremy there is never a day without
RF> an incident. Not just that but other things. This is why insurance is
RF> so important. I need him on meds for a while so he sees the
RF> difference.
MW> This is exactly how my grandson Joey reacts to his younger sister,
MW> Amanda. She is ADD and never shuts up...he just strikes out when she
MW> annoys him.. He is very aggressive...the doctor is thinking of
MW> changing his medicine again...she is going to try Ritilan...hope it
MW> works for him...
RF> Hope it works okay. I was at a friends house whose son is ADHD and
RF> she put him on it before we arrived (a Sat). It did him a world of
RF> good for a good part of the day. All went real nice.
I read your post where you were talking about this...To have Joey not
fight like that would be great...Amanda screams whenever he comes near
her..as a matter of fact, she screams over everthing..you tell her no,
she screams..you tell her yes and she still screams...She needs to be
on some sort of medicine too...
