As of Dec. 25, 1997, a general amnesty is in effect for all former
participants in this echo who have been suspended or banned at some
point in the past. A welcome is extended to each and everyone of
those concerned, and they will be treated the same as anyone in
good standing (which at this time includes everyone).

UFO is returning to its former status as a UFO discussion area only,
and all other non-UFO related topics are directed to BAMA (Odyssey
Fringe Science Research Echo). BAMA is moderated by our very own
Roger Nelson, and was recently re-organized with the UFO echo needs
in mind. These changes were instituted by Jym Fox, Roger Nelson and
yours truely.
Ask your sysop to poll for BAMA, and visit us there soon. There are
some very interesting discussions in progress there at this time,
and some really great discussions are in the promise for the immediate
future.
Topics of discussion available in BAMA include, UFOs, the pyramids,
the paranormal, metaphysics, science research, cosmology (the study
and science of the universe), Fortean subjects, and new-age thinking.
(Cosmology is also viable to some extent in UFO, subject to moderator
scrutiny.)
At this time, the moderator staff of UFO wishes to extend a very
happy and prosperous new year to one and all.
