Some IRDs have a built in filter that you can switch in.
On recent units this is controlled by a button on the
remote control. Probably would not make much difference,
so if your system does not have this feature, don't worry
about it.

The satellite has not changed, so maybe your system has changed?
Maybe it is time to make sure the dish is tracking the arc.
That means the dish points right at each sat as you move the dish.
Ground settling or high winds may have caused the dish to
be looking a bit away from the satellite arc.
