GC>Sounds good! :)
Hi Glen: Will have to be after the registrations are down to a dribble
as I am the District Registrar. Our registration is tomorrow and I am
going to be snowed with paper work shortly. Then I will have a look and
see what else I can find for you.
GC> > Have you or are you taking recipes out of the Leader Magazines?
GC>I have to be careful due to copyright laws but I will be looking back and

Can't you get permission from the Leader? If it's for Scouting? Wouldn't
they give permission? With all those back issues you will find a lot of
recipes. Some are in articles but most will be near the back usually
next to songs, Scouter's 5 etc. You could really use a scanner. :)
GC> > Are you putting into your recipe book campfire cooking hints, safety,

GC>Anything I can find. It will not be a book like any other it will
just be a collection of useable information and lots of good recipes!
The Leader here too is a mine of information.

GC>Words and tunes mentioned only. I have no ability to include music.
GC> > 2. Are you getting any out of the Leader Magazines?
GC>I got most of them from web sites and old scout books.
I have a few old Scout books too. And some Scout Song books.

GC>Hold off for now - when I get the songs completed I will send you a copy

Ok will do. There are some nice ones in the old Leaders also. And some
of them are really unique.

GC>Sounds good - will do some research and see what I can find!
Have you tried the Cooking Echo's in Fido? There are tons of recipes. I
am afraid to get those echos as I was on once and I can't say no. :(
Ended up last time I had a peek in there with a bunch of dog biscuit
recipes. And our dog is on a diet. He makes you feel such a heel if you
don't share. Have to watch his weight as it is not a good idea to let
this breed of dog get overweight. Actually thinking about it he is not a
good breed to have if you are a Scout. His name is Oscar Myer. Guess
what breed he is? :) Have to watch him closely so he doesn't end up on
the menu. ;)
GC>Thanks again!
My pleasure.
