Hi,
  To start with let me tell you about our kitty.  His name is Patches and
  he is a black and white three quarter angora.  He is more partial to me 
  than my wife and when he purrs it's like a snore-purr.  Seems like every
  time we pet he then goes to his food dish and eats.  Then when he drinks
  his water he plays with it with his paw then drinks.  We keep him inside 
  because we don't want him to tangle with the neighborhood cats, some that 
  are feral.  When he come in our room after we wake up he licks my hair
  which I don't like that much.  
  So to put a question out, does your cat like to play with his food, like
  take one morsel out and bats it around the floor and then eats it?
