Hi David,
I did not watch any of that, but I know what they must have covered.
The Walnut Creek runs right behind us, it flooded in 1955(I was 3, I
remember cause I got a puppy due to the flood) and almost wiped out the
city. So now thanks to the Army COE it is concrete 40' high and 75' wide
and the backyard is 15' up the old bank - no flood no more. Tice Creek
in the Southwest corner is still earth, much smaller - still floods,
about a foot maybe, 6 miles across town. The people up on the Russian
and Yuba Rivers and others to the north and east, had water half-way up
the 2nd floor. 60 miles of highway 50 to Lake Tahoe washed out on New
Year's day, will not reopen 'til February!
Every thing fine and dandy here,
back to your regular Foxcast,
den
P.S. (Hope to put up some Pearls fairly soon or as You would say Proverb)
