What Is MIDI-Net?
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

MIDI-Net was (re)created in September 2007 as a means for users to exchange 
information regarding MIDI and it's practical uses as a practice and 
performance tool.

We hope to 'get the word out' that using MIDI is not limited to only being used 
in the Professional and Commercial Sect but can be used at home by the hobbyist 
for the creation of their own music. Many people have the desire to create 
their own music but not the knowledge of what to get or how to use it once they 
do get it. MIDI-Net hopes to take away some of these unknowns and explain the 
methods needed to get a person's musical project completed.

There are no dumb questions and everyone is welcome. :)

MIDI-Net is currently only available as a QWK network (SynchroNet based) but I 
hope to expand upon that to FTN as time progresses.
