Make sure you regulate the thermostat effectively [I leave a thermometer on a
middle shelf] and have the back end well ventilated.
The only oven I have is a small toaster oven, which does

I use one of those most days, but "off the grid". To save energy I turn it
ff
as soon as possible so the cooking continues on stored heat; and sometimes
cover it with a towel [while OFF!] for that reason.
KH> Last question...is there any sort of electric heater one can buy that is

All elec heaters of the element type, are 100% efficient ie the entire energy
paid for, is released to the room. Reverse cycle heaters ie air conditioners
can be more than 100% "efficient" because being heat pumps, these collect
energy outdoors and pump it indoors. Such pumps can take energy from a cold
body and pass it to a warm body.
If you don't mind the sound of a fan heater [turn up the music loud!] then
these are good because the warmest air, hovering up at the ceiling is drafted
back down to warm your tootsies. And Radiant heaters succeed because the
cheery glow makes you FEEL warm even if you're not.
Cheers......ALEC
