I don't get it.  4DOS will spawn all the 4OS2 sessions you want?  If you
want to know if the modem has made a connection before loading VSOUP, you
can do that with a number of things, the first one that comes to mind is
the SU app that comes with the SIO comm driver package.  Do you run SIO?
