Then that would be good news.  Fwiw, I had another user last week (3 total)
who experienced this thing.  AFAIK none are now.

I wanted to verify this, but I think this is not the case.  One user
reported it seemed the left side of his keyboard was "swapped"
with the right side.  It did not happen again for me to check it more
thoroughly.

Nope, these guys are basically CAD users.  Could data corruption in a
AutoCAD file cause such a thing (I don't see how but....)?

Lately things have been quiet so I've let it ride for now.  I have now run
3 different virus scanners and none see anything.
