subject: Locked files

I recently installed Warp 4 on a workstation using OS/2 Warp Remote
Install. The remote workstation part of the installation failed at the
first attempt and I closed down the Remote Install on the local
(source) machine until I had sorted out the problem. Having resolved
the problem I re-ran Remote Install and it completed successfully on
the target machine. However if I now try to start MPTS on the local (
source ) machine the oracle speaks thus:
'You have re-installed MPTS. Locked files will not allow you to start
MPTS. You must exit MPTS, shutdown, and restart your workstation
before you can start MPTS'
Needless to say on closing down, rebooting and restarting the
situation is not resolved. I cannot be sure that this remote
installation was the cause of the problem as I have not tried to access
MPTS for a long time. MPTS on the newly installed remote machine is
fine. Can anyone offer any suggestions please?
The machine which is having the problems is running Warp 4 with FP1
applied.
Best wishes
Barry Samuels
