Hello Chip.

16 Nov 40 19:20, you wrote to me:

I'm running WinXP on a PII/400 machine, with EleBBS (a RemoteAccess clone),
with NetFos as my fossil. Since I don't have phone access, I use telnet
only, using EleBBS's own Eleserv as the telnet agent.

I tried to set up v4.06, but the error it kept giving me was "LoRD
must be started with start.bat (which I was doing).

According to Mike Ehlert, one of the anchor members of the EleBBS team:

ME>This is caused by a bug in older versions of LORD, which conflicts

ME>I added a work around to fix it the problem in NetFoss 0.7.2 but

ME>(This is mentioned in NETFOSS.DOC).

ME>You can request to download the latest beta version of LORD
ME>by sending an email to e_maus{at}covingtononline.com with a
ME>subject line of "send me lord" with no quotes."

Well, I sent the emails, and got no reply. So, what can I do? I really
don't have any traffic to speak of, but maybe running LoRD will help
attract users.

Thanks.....

Bill
