There is *ONE* shot of me at 21, it was my publicity picture for the USO.
Prior to us girls getting to a base, the base would put up "coming
soon" pictures of us girls. The pictures were taken by the USO
photography unit. With 30+ years on me I don't look exactly like that
anymore but you can see that it's an old picture of me. As I said I put the
pictures up to show how all we Gallandt - Ransford - Turner women look
alike. When my bubbi died I became the matriarch of the family and as such
I am entrusted to safely keep the family pictures. I have pictures of my
mom's bubbi. I think most people my age have grandparents and great
grandparents who are much younger than mine. My bubbi, Virgie was born in
1893. and died in 1981. The genes in my family are very strong. The *ONLY*
physical trait I got from my dad are his Cherokee cheekbones.
