BG> How did you get hold of it? USR haven't even officially released it yet.

I sat back and waited till someone somewhere bragged, that they had it.

A bloke in Sweden actually had it before anyone, but would not let anyone freq

it, So I logged in and snatched it.

BG> Obviously you've installed it in your modem, but I wonder if it will go

Yes I am using it and it actually fixes the problem I had with the STD pips.

 BG> into an

BG> Austel Courier as well (later SDLs are said to be able to do that) ?

I have been told that it works on other modems outside of the US and that

is why they took it off the internet. It would negate the need for country

specific sdl's. and be like the old days. Couldn't have that could we.

You can get it direct from USR if you ring them and prove that you are

infact IN AMERICA,

I would like to see if David could try loading this one just once as is

is suppose to be more or less a capable of loading on anything.

Well that is the impression I got.

DAVID D. DAVID D. DAVID D. DAVID D.

HOW ABOUT JUST TRYING ONCE TO LOAD THIS SDL AND BE THE FIRST TO TELL US

IF IT IS POSSIBLE.

Russell
