Out local Kragen Auto Store has had a 18 Volt 3/8 inch TW> drill at $39.95 for the last 4 months. They come in all shapees and sizes... I've seen a 1/2" hammer drill done in cordless... price in the kilobucks somewhere I think. and the cheap ones... well you get what you pay for, plastic mechanical parts, and diecast waering parts wouldn't surprise me, That said, the junk coming out of china is improving in quality, I remember some of the crap they used to make in Taiwan - stuff that woudn't las't 30 seconds and they've improved out of sight. if you're making lots of holes though go for a mains powered drill, and bigger isn't neccessarily better, I've got a chinese 1/4" drill that runs nice and fast (4000 rpm) for making small holes (like for 1/8" pop-rivets), 'cause my 1/2" drill maxes out at 1200 RPM and the cordless onlt does 800. -=> Bye <=- ---* Origin: Don't pay your exorcist & get repossessed!
