You really don't need battleships to run WP5.x under OS2. A 386DX with CoPro
and 8 Megs does the trick (though 16 Megs should be a bit more convinient -
not for WP, but because you'll like to run other tasks then in the
beackground as well).
No need for Warp 4 eighter. I am sure you could find nowadays a full Pack
Warp connect 3 for a few bucks somewhere. And that's something writers and
manufacturers of soft & hard aren't expecting you to do, isn't it? :-)
Only one condition: you should have rock-solid hardware.
