I have recently coded Tobruk to handle multiple addresses, especially
intended for use with multiple domains.  Now squish has a "-p"
you can put on an echo to change the primary address.  I have added support
for that.  What I haven't been able to do properly is the situation of
netmail.  E.g. say I am 3:711/934 and 555:555/555. Now if I write a netmail
message using address 555:555/555 and then export it, when I create a brand
new packet to go to 555:666/666 (my main feed), I should presumably use the
address 555:555/555 to say where the packet is from?  What about if I am a
hub too, and sometimes use 555:444/444 as my origin address?  In both cases
the messages go to 555:666/666, but does this mean I need to create
separate packets?

What does everyone else do?

Then there is the situation of incoming mail, obviously I can't take their
address, e.g. 555:333/333.  I *could* take the "destination
address" in the PKT header that THEY send me, and use that, the same
way as above.  Or I could use the address they send me, and then go and do
some sort of "best match" on the list of addresses I have, and
use that.

I have some serious qualms about relying on what they send me in order to
create my own packets.  E.g. if I am a hub, some people might use my
address as 555:444:444 (my hub address), whilst others use my 555:555/555
address, and this would in turn meant that I sometimes used one, and
sometimes the other, when I send MY packets to 555:666/666, my main feed.
