What has all the fuss been over the years about the SDL's not
supporting other platforms..specially OS/2
Anyone with OS/2 can get/make an old DOS boot disk and flash the modem
from a floppy. there are many old versions of DOS that are out of date
and will still boot a machine one time, once in a blue moon, once for
just 60 seconds (long enough to flash the modem)
Surely Bill Gates does not expect everyone to buy the full version of
Dos 2.1 just to boot and flash and throw back in the cupboard twice a
year. ... or does he.
