Well, I did say in an earlier message that random sampling was not
possible in baseball, and so I'd worry more about the fact that the
sampling wasn't random than the fact that the sample size was small.
Nevertheless, the games that will be played do indeed provide better
information about how the leagues compare than the World Series plus
All-Star games do. And if it is a small difference, then I won't make
much out of it either. If it is a huge difference, then people are
probably going to debate what it means.
And I thought it was 15 games per team, not three games per team.
