Then you must have software flow control set in either your modem or
software or both.
I installed one particular SDL once that reset all my settings and
changed my hardware flow control to default to software.....bad
mistake.  I did not know what hit me when I used the modem straight
after flashing it, to upload the new SDL across the country.
No fault of my own, either... gremlins in the SDL did all the work.
just take a peek to be sure.
