I know what you meant, and that is exactly what i was doing! =)
That is about the only thing i know about Packards other than how to spot
one.. So i was just adding my 2 cents.
Malso, maybe in Canada, Packards would go for a whole lot more than here, to
answer your question,

Santa Barbara, CA, USA =)
I know for a fact that you can sell a car in the Midwest for a WHOLE lot
ore
than you could get or it in CA. For example, when i went back to MN a couple
winters ago, at a FORD dealership (ok, ok... they ALWAYS inflate the price,
but for the sake of my story, please disregard that fact )
there was a 1960 T-Bird. CHerry red with a sun roof and a 390 with 110K on
it. A great lookin' car, w/o a doubt, but they wanted a cool $16 Grand for
it. I could hardly keep from laughing. Searching through the newspaper
there, i saw 65 Stangs for $3000+, needing work, etc..
When i came back, i checked out the local car trader mags for comparison.
ot
only did i see a 1960 Tbird in the same condition, but for $3400 (sun roof
too). And 65 Stangs in 'fair' shape go for $1700-$2200. (Of course you
an't
go a BLOCK and not see a 60's Stang around So. Ca.)
BTW, i saw the same Tbird in the aforementioned ad a month later at a
dealership for $5000.
How much are 65 Stangs in YOUR neck of the woods, in Canada?
