Thought of that but am moving along nicely now having put
together bits and pieces from the advise of many here.

The really big thing was my failing eyesight holding me back until
on a well rested day first thing in the morning I
broke out the magnifying lenses and spot lighting
to make out the markings on the modem's PC board.

That's why I was originally looking so hard for JPG's or
GIF's.
I've got it figured out now so it's just a matter of getting back to it
to setup on a good day.

ITMT I'll crawl along at 33,600 with a line that supports 50,666
because I had to throttle the software modem currently in the machine
back to V.34 due to Verizon altering negotiation protocols.
I actually got over 51k a couple of times before they altered things.
