I think he was talking about 2.26.SW/DOS running under DOS (windows).  I had 
another sysop around here with the same problem.  2.12.SW/DOS could be patched
and worked, but 2.26.SW/DOS wouldn't ... so he ended up using MCMAIL or some 
crap. :(
