Thanks VERY much for all the info and having taken what was
obviously a LOT of time to respond to my query; however, it is
an Autohelm unit, not a Rayethon, and it seems a lot of what you
were describing related more to the tiller pilot (another
Autohelm!) I had with my Kelt than it does to the wheel
steering autopilot I have with the Jeanneau.
All good info, however, since all these things have to work in
pretty much the same way... same magnetic fields (we hope) on
the same water!
