My setup, for all the "do/get thru internet" stuff, works the same
whether I'm using dialup or DSL, it's just a different batch to call the
dialup or to access the DSL.  My wizard (of course) put it all together,
for all the different things... email, telnet, FTP, web access (includes
newsgroups).

OK, so far she hasn't asked me what's up... I did mention it to her back
when you first asked... ;)  Hope you get what you need, from wherever. :)

I'm using Pegasus.  It's another DOS (probably freeware) program. 
Richard put together a bunch of things from Wattcp, if I remember
correctly... :)

Tis indeed a far cry from that nowadays, but the spirit of helpfulness
hasn't really left, there's just fewer of us around now...  :)
