subject: Blocking separate lines?

Hi Folks,
I have an interesting question for some bright intelligent qedit expert!
Do you qualify?
Well, let's see if you can give me the help I am looking for.
I am using qedit 2.1 and cannot update, even if I wanted to so let's stop
there, okay?
The question I have for you is this.
I may have a listing of several topics numbering up to ( for example) up to
10 with each topic on each line so that there is a listing of 10 down the
left column.
Now, I know how to block in and take a whole block of them and move it to
where I want to and I also know different ways of moving one complete line
or part of a line to another text, but is there any way of blocking in one
line and then dropping down to another line after skipping over 2 or 3 lines
and moving both blocked lines at the same time?
for example, if I want to block and move lines 1, 4 and 6 and leave the rest
there, is there any way of doing this with one command?
Got it?
Wally.
... I've been thinking, but it's an accident I swear!
