I don't know how one would function without being able to find out
what's in there.  Going to reveal codes, I was quickly able to see
the tabs and hard returns, but the person who'd created the document
said they'd not been there when it'd been saved.  (We *really* need
to do some training instead of just putting people at the keyboard
and hoping for the best.)
If the same thing happens to your wife, it may be a bug in WPW 5.2
with which we're just going to have to live.
