Hej Timo!

Sometimes it is not appropriate to use VAR parameters instead of pointers;
it depends on the structure being passed. In these cases, VP takes a
pointer instead of a VAR parameter. In other cases, there may be doubt as
to whether it should be a VAR parameter or a pointer, and we have chosen to
always use a pointer in these cases, to avoid unnecessary type conflict
problems.

Allan
