subject: Midi sites legal status !

There has been a lot of fuzz lately regarding MIDI sites posting copyrighted
material. If a MIDI site owner does something like that (posting copyrighted
stuff) and knowing that he is, actually he is asking for trouble.

When i started my site (http://www.dmayer.demon.nl Live music Corner) i knew
there were lots of sites publishing copyrighted stuff without even caring
about the consequences. And i knew that, sooner or later, they'd get sued
for it.

But i could not imagine that the lawsuits would start without any warning at
all. But that is just what is happening right now (if i'm informed
correctly).

I think i have an idea that steers all of us midi site owners out of the
danger zone without closing up our sites. However, It does imply that real
copyrighted material must be removed (in time, not right away) from our
sites.

Interested ?

Surf to http://www.dmayer.demon.nl/midiwar.html, read all about it and fill
out the form. No money involved whatsoever !

Best regards, Danny.
