I had something neat happen.  I've been giving my
mom & dad cards that I have made which they have
been using and know the price of.
My Mom, in writing to my aunt, had mentioned to her
that I had made the cards.  Writing in return, my
aunt said that she would be interested in selling
some of my cards in the gift shop that they own.
So I wrote her a letter to find out what she wants
and to let her know my prices.
I heard back from her yesterday and she sent me a check.
I'm sending her some samples, exceeding the amount she
paid for and will tell her she can just send back the
ones that she doens't want.  Twenty dollars right now
was a Godsend since I needed the money for gas for my
car.  :-)
So I've been stamping a little yesterday and today for
that and also a few cards for my neighbor who has been
watering my garden for me.  That is something that I can
no longer do because of my balance problems and my back
pain.
I've also been blessed by a few people who have sent me
buttons.  It's been nice to be able to sort through them.
A friend sent me some more heart buttons recently which
I put to good use.  My purse had developed holes in the
lining so I finally had to throw it away and go back to
using my old cloth purse.  It had a few little holes that
I mended. In talking to my mom she suggested putting extra
patches on the purse and decorating with buttons, so that
is what I did. I used two flower buttons that I got from
a friend in Australia and the rest were heart buttons that
I had and which were received from my friend.
Other than that, I've been simply trying to cope with the
pain and the stress.
