subject: Re: Computer or virus problem

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone that has replied to my
original posting of the computer problem I had... After trying many things,
and suggestions, I found that the culprit of my problems was in fact the
external CACHE module or the socket itself...
I am yet uncertain of which, but I have disabled the use of External
Cache on the motherboard (Thus I don't even have 256K cache on my system) and
for the time being, the cache module (like a memory simm) is being checked
out... if it is the faulty item, then it's gonna get replaced... however, if
it is not, then the motherboard needs replacing, and if that's the case, it's
so long to Pine Technologies motherboards...
Again, thanxs to everyone who gave suggestions about my long list of
problems... since I've disabled the cache, I've been able to do many long
awaited things for my bulletin board, as well as run Norton's Speed Disk for
the first time in about 4 months... Thanxs again... I'm very grateful to have
a place to write of my problems, and actually get some help for it.
Mark
