You can always use the XMODEM upload option, IF you have the 3-COM Courier.
If you have The USR Modem (Sportster) then currently you can only upgrade
it by using the wizard. Why won't 3COM release STAND ALONE SDL including
XMODEM code, so The USR Modem can be used under Linux or something?

IBM has abdoned their support of Team OS/2. More and more hardware will
NOT run under OS/2. If you want to be able to use applications that
you buy off the shelf, then you need to be using Windows 95 or later.
If you're happy with the applications you have, then you can keep
whatever operating system you want.
