That fact that you don't eat at a Denny's in Mesa doesn't make a damn
bit of difference to a Denny's in Boston. There is no incentive for
Boston to change based on your decision of where to eat. However, if
you don't eat at my place, because of a gun ban in Boston, I may just
say the hell with it, you really don't support me anyway.
PN> IOW, Denny's in Mesa bans, Denny's in Phoenix doesn't. What to do?
Obviously, when I desired to eat at Denny's it would be in Phoenix and
not in Mesa.
PN> I recognize there's disagreement here, and I believe it's a valid point
PN> some people make to continue to patronize those outlets that don't ban

It is the right way to go. If I don't ban in my store, why should I
be picketed or boycotted the same as those that do?
PN> But I would suggest that if we don't hang together we'll hang
PN> separately...

As do I. I do not shop or purchase from vendors who ban guns from
their establishments and I do frequent those who do not ban. The
bottom line is that the owner of the property makes his/her choice
concerning whether or not to ban on their private property. I make my
choice as to whether or not to purchase anything form them.
Sleep well tonight, Paul....
